Prabhas' Adipurush has created a havoc before and during its release at the box-office especially during its first weekend. The makers announced that the film has collected Rs 450 Crores globally in 10 days. And then there is no official word about it. But, the ground reality is Adipurush is almost out of its steam at the box-office and it's closing collections stand at around Rs 470 Crs. The makers struck a deal with Amazon Prime Video even before it's release for Rs 250 Crs.
During its release makers announced that the film will stream in OTT from September. But, the latest events suggest that it would make its entry to OTT very soon. Main reason is the film has almost ended it's run and another one is the High Definition copy of Adipurush in Tamil language is surfaced online. And is being downloaded from torrents. Within no time other languages will also appear in HD versions.
As Amazon paid hefty price for the streaming rights, they are planning to release the film in their platform with a week or two. Discussions are going on between Amazon and makers regarding this as per inside sources. Going by these developments we can expect Adipurush to appear in OTT any time soon.
Adipurush is an adaptation of Mythological Epic Ramayan where Prabhas played as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan. The film is directed and jointly produced by Om Raut with T Series, Retrophiles, and UV Creations. The film was released in multiple languages on June 16.
