Controversy effect on LEO song. Thalapathy Vijay is getting ready to entertain movie lovers with his upcoming project LEO. The film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is generating immense hype among movie lovers. The film is slated for a grand release on 19 October 2023.
Fans of Vijay got a huge delight when the makers released the first look and a glimpse of Vijay from the film and also the song Naa Ready. However, the film's song Naa Ready landed in controversy when Selvam, a social activist from Korukkupet in Chennai took a strong exception with Vijay smoking and drinking in the song and filed a case.
With a police complaint filed against Vijay for promoting drugs in the film, the makers decided to change a few things in the song. Apart from adding the smoking disclaimer, they also removed the objectionable scenes from the song.
The film's shooting is currently progressing in Talakona. Trisha is the female lead while Priya Anand, Gowtham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Santi Mayadevi, Mathew Thomas, Mansoor Ali Khan are playing key roles. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director for the film.
