The Kerala Story producer to expose all. Adah Sharma's The Kerala Story directed by Sudipto Sen is setting the box office on fire. The film which is based on the Hindu girls getting brainwashed and turned to ISIS terrorists resulted in a huge controversy. Despite few states banning the film, the film already crossed more than Rs 150crs collections at the box office.
In the meantime, producer Vipul Shah speaking to scribes, dared all. Reacting to the controversy over the number of girls forcibly converted, he said he changed the number to 3 from 32000 as the film showed 3 girls.
He said a few NGOs put the number at 7000. He blasted the media for making wild accusations against the film's cast and crew and threatening them instead of paying sympathies and working for the girls who suffered.
He sought to know whether the media or the opponents who are criticizing them will change their stand if he proves that the number is much more than 32000. He questioned “7000 ka number inhone kaha par aise bahut se aakhron ko leke hum bohot jald hi aenge aur saara khulasa karenge, 32,000 ka bhi. Uske baad main dekhna chahta hoon ki jin logo ne hamein criticise kiya, kya wo apna rukh badalte gaub? Lekin wo hamare bare mein kya sochte hain isse hamein koi farq nahi padta. Aap inn ladkiyon ki ladai ko weak mat kariye, inke sath anyaye mat kariye. That is our request and that is what we want to see.”
