Simbu’s recently delivered blockbuster successes with Maanadu and Pathu Thala. While the later is emerged as one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of the year. Up next, the actor is all set to start his 48th film which is said to be the most expensive film in his career. The film is produced by Kamal Haasan. Latest exciting news is Deepika Padukone is being considered as female lead for Simbu.
#STR48 to be directed by Desingh Periasamy of Kannam Kannam Kollai Adithal / Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante fame. Kamal Haasan will be producing the movie under his Raj Kamal Films International banner on a huge scale.
STR48 is said to be the biggest film in Simbu's career. The film is touted to have some historical period portions. According to sources, Bollywood star heroine Deepika Padukone is in talks for the female lead role. Reportedly, Deepika charges a whopping remuneration more than Simbu’s salary for the film.
We can expect an official announcement from the team soon if the talks go well. Also, Kamal Haasan is expected to play a cameo in STR48, which has doubled its expectations. Apparently, Anirudh Ravichander will score the film’s music.
