Pooja Hegde, until a year ago, is considered as the top heroine in Tollywood with very big films on her hand. But the year 2022 has made her career upside down. From being a Top Heroine she had to face continuous failures which made several called her as iron leg. Her big ticket films Radhe Shyam, Beast, Acharya and Cirkus bombed at the boxoffice without a trace.
But, Pooja didn't budge down to the humiliation she is coming back stronger concentrating on her career more than ever. Her upcoming film is Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan starring Salman Khan. During promotional activities of the film, Pooja opened up about her previous disaster film, Cirkus with Ranveer Singh directed by Rohit Shetty.
Speaking about the dismal result of Cirkus Pooja said, " She said, “Did it upset me? Yes, a little bit, because it is my baby at the end of the day. But the way I look at it, I only learnt from it. I got to work with Rohit Shetty and comedy legends like Johny Lever, Sanjay Mishra. So I think overall, it was a great thing, and people really appreciated me in the film. And I love Rohit sir as a person. He is a great person to deal with and shoot with. So overall, I think I came out a winner.”
Earlier she also opened up about her another disaster Radhe Shyam, " What I was happy about was that people were appreciating me in the film. Besides saying that ‘Pooja Hegde looks beautiful’, they were also talking about my performance. How I have really improved as an actor, how my emotional scenes were really good and that made me very happy."
