Mrunal Thakur is not afraid to confess to being low

Mrunal makes a startling confession

Mrunal Thakur speaking to scribes shared that she is not afraid of confessing on being low and asked others also to be bold and candid enough to accept the truth. Mrunal Thakur cast a magic spell in Tollywood with her debut film Sitha Ramam and is now starring in Nani's milestone 30th film under the direction of newcomer Shouryuv.

She said “People might say, ‘Oh, your Sri Lanka trip was glamorous, and you looked great’, but are we actually happy? I feel there are fewer conversations today, and people are afraid of sharing their real emotions." and added ‘It takes a lot of courage to be vulnerable in front of the world’

She went on to add ‘Social media gives an illusion of a world that doesn’t exist’ and shared ‘Depression is a big word and shouldn’t be used casually’. The discussion was triggered following Mrunal's post and then people speculating that she is facing depression.

Mrunal shared "There are people who need help as far as mental health is concerned. It’s a sensitive topic and can be misinterpreted. That is a separate conversation altogether. Depression is a big word that needs a deeper understanding and shouldn’t be used casually. My intention was to normalize feeling low. We tend to bury these feelings deep inside and don’t want to hear or talk about them. That needs to change. Accepting that you aren’t feeling great can only help you resolve it. I want to tell the world that I am not afraid to show or say what I feel, and you shouldn’t either.”
