The intro scene of Megastar Chiranjeevi in Waltair Veerayya is said to be outstanding that made fans go gaga over the intro scene & song of the film. As per the film's story, as is known, Chiranjeevi plays a fisherman role and inevitably the film has a beach and harbour backdrop in it.
We are now hearing the reports that #NTR30 will have the backdrop of a harbour for which huge sets are being erected in Goa and Shamshabad. And the poster released by the film's team too suggested the same.
Has the director Koratala Siva taken a cue from Waltair Veerayya for his new film's backdrop? In such a case, can't it be said that he has 'thought poverty'? The gap is minimal between the release of WV and the launch of NTR30. Then, why shouldn't Koratala prefer another backdrop is the criticism made by detractors.
However, some observers have a defence for it. According to them, the film is set in a semi-period backdrop which requires extensive VFX. Obviously, the substance is completely different from WV.
NTR30 has Janhvi Kapoor in the lead actress role while Yuvasudha Arts will bankroll the project. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is the presenter.
