These days half of the film's budget goes into the pockets of Big Heroes in the name of remunerations. Most of them demand huge salaries. As a result the budgets get increased and producers face the heat whenever the film fails to meet the expectations at the Box-office. Recently Karan Johar also made a statement that Heroes not even have the potential to draw Rs 5 crores opening demands Rs 20 Crores as remuneration. He called that as not fair. Now another top producer T Series CEO Bhushan Kumar also made similar remarks about big heroes remunerations.
Bhushan Kumar said that some heroes understand the situation and goes accordingly. But, some won't budge in their remunerations, irrespective of problems the film is facing, they demand huge salaries or otherwise they won't work with us. In such cases we also let go of them. He asks why should producer alone face the burden and says it is surely a huge setback to producers when they pay 20-25 crores only for remuneration for a hero. He also said that some of them even quote huge numbers for small budgeted films too. In such cases they bargain about the remunerations with them said Bhushan.
Last year Bhushan Kumar's Production Bhool Bhulaiyyaa 2 became a superhit. It came as a relief to Bollywood while it's theatrical business was at its all-time low post covid. Overwhelmed by its success Bhushan Kumar gifted it's hero Karthik Aryan with expensive McLaren GT car. He also gifted Prabhas Adipurush Director Om Raut with luxury Ferrari F8 Tributo. Both these cars cost in crores of rupees.
