Akshay Kumar walked out of Gorkha much to the shock of all. When Akshay Kumar announced in October 2021 a project titled Gorkha, a biopic on Major General Ian Cardozo, the war hero of the Gorkha Regiment of the Indian Army, people got super thrilled. The project was supposed to be produced by Anand L Rai.
Now reports are coming that Akshay Kumar quit Gorkha. It is known that when Akshay Kumar released the intense first look of Gorkha, while his fans got super excited, retired army officers took a strong exception. A retired army officer, took a strong exception and posted ''Dear @akshaykumar ji, as an ex Gorkha officer, my thanks to you for making this movie. However, details matter. Akshay Kumar replied back “Dear Maj Jolly, thank you so much for pointing this out. We’ll take utmost care while filming. I’m very proud and honoured to be making Gorkha. Any suggestions to get it closest to reality would be most appreciated." Now inside talk is Akshay Kumar walked out of the project as he doesn't want to enter into any controversy and depict the film in an unauthenticated manner.
