Had everything gone as per plans, Jersey director Gautam Tinnanuri would have been directing Ram Charan's RC16. But it did not materialize as Ram Charan rejected it. This is not the first time, Ram Charan took a U-turn as he earlier shelved the project with Koratala Shiva after it was launched. This time, Ram Charan became careful and did not proceed forward.
But it is coming out that Gautam Tinnanuri narrated the same story to Karthi and Karthi who loved the story suggested a few changes in the script. He even asked Gautam Tinnanuri to narrate the line to his brother Suriya. Gautam Tinnanuri promised to do so after making the changes.
But inside talk is it was Allu Aravind who facilitated this meeting of Gautam Tinnanuri and Karthi. Aravind made it possible to get an appointment with Karthi and Karthi due to his closeness with Aravind, readily gave the appointment. It is known that Allu Aravind produced Jersey Hindi remake in Bollywood. It was Allu Aravind who ensured that Gautam Tinnanuri gets a chance to narrate the script to Ram Charan. Allu Aravind is ensuring that newcomers get a chance under the GA2 banner and is going all out that they get good projects.
