Movie lovers across the country have been waiting eagerly for Young Rebel Star Prabhas' Adi Purush to see their hero in the role of Lord Ram. Om Raut who is making the film based on the Hindu epic Ramayan planned to release the film on January 12, 2023, as a Sankranti special and the date also coincides with the opening of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
However, now it is coming out that the makers of Adi Purush have decided to back off. This is coming as a huge disappointment as the Sankranti race heated up with Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy and Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veeraiah and many others locked the Sankranti dates.
Reports have it, that the makers decided to opt out of the Sankranti race as they feel that they need more time to complete the VFX and CGI. The film has extensive VFX and the makers claim that they are using 100 times more VFX than Baahubali. With the teaser getting a huge negative talk, the makers don't want to take any chances.
