Not only the people of India but the entire world is celebrating the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2,2022. Many world leaders and renowned personalities recollected Gandhi's influence in their day-to-day activities and how they were inspired by their great personality.
However, there is always a burning debate in India as to whether India gained Independence due to Mahatma Gandhi alone. A section of the people criticize Gandhi for acting as a British agent and cite examples that had Gandhi supported freedom fighters like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Patel, or Bhagat Singh, India would have gotten Independence a long time back.

Under these circumstances, Rahul Ramakrishna, a Tollywood comedian came up with a controversial and insulting post on Gandhi. He posted "I don’t think Gandhi was great". This is drawing sharp reactions on social media. While he did not mention the full name, some are mockingly questioning whether it was Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, or Rahul Gandhi. Even earlier, Rahul Ramakrishna created controversies with his posts but many feel that he crossed the thin redline this time.
