Rajamouli's Baahubali elevated the standard of Indian cinema at the international level. Rajamouli worked for many years and the entire cast and crew, Prabhas, Anushka, Tamannaah, Rana, Satyaraj,Ramyakrishna put in a lot of effort and dedicated more than five years to the project.
The film brought many laurels but inside talk is that Rajamouli at one point in time, decided to shelve the project. Making this startling revelation, one of the producers Shobu Yarlagadda said after starting Baahubali, at once time Rajamouli asked them to shelve the project as the budget is shoring up. He planned to take up a new project.
However, Sobhu Yarlagadda told Rajamouli that they have undertaken a risk and asked him not to back off. Had Shobu Yarlagadda heard to Rajamouli's words, world wouldn't have witnessed to Rajamouli's Baahubali magic and Tollywood wouldn't gain such name and fame.
