While the film was released in all languages on August 25, 2022, the film's Hindi version was released on August 26, for an inexplicable reason. Liger's collections are better than Ranveer’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar which could manage an opening of only Rs 3.25 crore. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa was not received as well as Liger has been welcomed by the cine-goers in the Hindi-speaking belt. Pushpa earned Rs 3.33 cr. on its opening day.
