Now many feel that Icon Star Allu Arjun and Super Star Mahesh Babu are behind Vijay Devarakonda's Liger plight. It is known that Puri Jagannath claimed that it was Allu Arjun who inspired him to write the story of Liger. He revealed how Allu Arjun told him about a Hollywood director who pens stories showing his hero suffering from disabilities and scoring hits with such stories at the box office.
Puri revealed that he told Allu Arjun about hero stammering and taking part in mixed martial arts and Allu Arjun loving the story. He also told that he drew inspiration from Allu Arjun's Pushpa climax for Liger climax. Inside talk is Puri Jagannath narrated Liger story to Mahesh Babu but Mahesh Babu rejected it. Many say, Vijay Devarakonda might have signed the project as he got thrilled that he was doing the story loved by Allu Arjun and rejected by Mahesh Babu and dreamed of a Pushpa type sensation in Bollywood.
