Filmmakers and stars across the country are smitten with the pan India craze and following this actors irrespective of the language and the industry are making films and getting them dubbed in various languages and releasing it hoping for a pan India stardom. However, there are only two stars who are not bothered about that pan India craze and are content with doing films in their own languages. They are Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Super Star Mahesh Babu.
In the recent past, even though their films did not release across the country, their films remained the highest grosses in the country. The collections of their films are along the lines of the actors whose films were released across the country. Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata got Rs 155crs collections while Pawan Kalyan's Bheemla Nayak got Rs 132 crs. It is known that the AP government targeted Bheemla Nayak and ensured that the tickets are sold at the rates of peanuts. Even then the film collected over Rs132crs and this shows the craze for Pawan Kalyan at the box office.
While all the other heroes' films were released across the country, Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Pawan Kalyan's Bheemla Nayak which were released only in Telugu stood at 8th and 10th place respectively in the top ten grossers of 2022.
