Following the disaster of Prabhas' period romantic entertainer Radhe Shyam, all his fans hoped that he will fast-track his mass action entertainer Salaar and unleash his power at the box office. However, much to the disappointment of all, Prashant Neel, director of Salaar revealed that the film's release had been postponed to April or June 2023.
Now inside talk is Salaar shoot came to a standstill. Buzz is not even 50% of Salaar's shoot is completed and now it came to a standstill. Sources say since Prabhas underwent surgery in Spain after Radhe Shyam's release, he is currently recovering taking rest. Once Prabhas recovers completely, the makers will resume the Salaar shoot.
Salaar stars Jagapathi Babu in an important role and rumors have it that Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran will be playing a powerful role. Ravi Brasur is the music director while Vijay Kiragandur is producing the film under Hombale Films.
