Tollywood project Icon has been making news since many years. People got excited when Allu Arjun and Venu Sriram announced the project titled Icon. However, Allu Arjun did not get convinced with the story and the script and decided to proceed ahead with Ala Vaikunthapuramlo. Meanwhile, Venu Sriram got the golden opportunity to direct Pawan Kalyan's, Vakeel Saab. After the hit of Vakeel Saab, rumors spread that Allu Arjun will revive Icon.
But Allu Arjun got busy with Pushpa and now after the success of Pushpa, rumors spread that Allu Arjun will be turning Icon into a pan India entertainer. But Allu Arjun is concentrating on Pushpa sequel inside talk is Allu Arjun may not do Icon. Now sources say Icon may be changing hands and Venu Sriram will do the project with energetic hero Ram. Ram is currently busy with The Warriorr with Lingusamy and has his next locked with Boyapati Srinu.
The icon is expected to take off after Ram completes his next with Boyapati Srinu. Dil Raju may produce the film along with Ram's home banner. It has to be seen whether Ram will go ahead with Icon if he scores a hit with Boyapati Srinu which is a pan India entertainer.
