Megastar Chiranjeevi's crucial meeting with the AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has ended on a fruitful note. Chiranjeevi, who was invited by the CM to discuss the film industry issues, expressed his satisfaction with the way the meeting went on. Chiranjeevi convened a press meet at the Gannavaram airport and shared the details of the meeting to the scribes. Following are the exerpts.
* I thank the CM and his wife for offering me a delicious lunch. Smt. Bharathi, herself, served the meals.
* The CM responded quite positively on the issues being faced by the industry.
* I brought all the woes of the producers, film workers and exhibitors quite comprehensively and the details were noted by the CM.
* Based on the details enlisted, a draft would be prepared by the committee and the CM would give necessary instructions to them.
* The CM responded positively for the 5th show in theatres.
* Industry is not as rosy as it appears outside. Industry's workers depend on their daily wages. It was during the pandemic times, they lost their livelyhood for four months. I provided groceries for three months for them.
* Not as an 'Industry Pedda' but as an 'Industry Bidda', I appeal to everyone from the film industry not to make any controversial remarks against the government as we'll get a positive decision from the government in two or three weeks.
* After the draft is prepared, we will be invited again by the CM. Whether I alone or I along with 100 more industry people to attend here will be decided as per the CM's orders.
