Kollywood actor Dhanush is known for his versatile and realistic performances. He lined up a couple of bilingual projects and slated for his Tollywood debut. His project Vaathi titled SIR in Telugu under Venky Atluri's direction kickstarted shooting a couple of days back. The makers are shooting important scenes on the lead actors in the exotic locations of Hyderabad.
But the spread of coronavirus at alarming proportions is scaring all. Inside talk is, Dhanush came to a decision that taking a risk in such a situation is not worth it and decided to stop the shooting. Buzz is the makers already stopped the shooting and thus SIR came to a standstill.
It is known that in Tamil Nadu strict restrictions have been imposed across the state by the government. SIR features Dhanush romancing Samyuktha Menon while GV. Prakash Kumar is the music director. Dinesh Krishnan is the cinematographer and Naveen Nooli is the editor for the film produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya on the Sithara Entertainments banner along with Fortune 4 Cinemas.
