Rajamouli's most awaited film RRR starring NTR and Ram Charan was postponed indefinitely following a surge in omicron in the country. It is all but confirmed that Prabhas' Radhe Shyam will also follow the suit. With already many states shutting down theatres completely or ordering 50% occupancy, the makers are left with no option but to defer the film releases.
In the midst of all this speculation is increasing on RRR and Radhe Shyam's new release dates. With the reports coming from the medical fraternity that the omicron wave will be reduced in two to three months' time, RRR and Radhe Shyam makers are eying new release dates.
Inside talk is RRR makers are thus eyeing the July month as the tentative release and if everything goes well then they will start promotions from May. In the meantime, reports are coming that Radhe Shyam makers are planning to release the film in April and most probably on April 29. It has to be seen whether everything goes according to the plan or covid has other shock in store.
