When Rajamouli's RRR opted out of the Sankranti race, rumors spread like wildfire that the other Sankranti biggie, Prabhas' Radhe Shyam will also be postponed indefinitely owing to the situation across the country following Omicron spread. However, the makers of Radhe Shyam confirmed that the film will be releasing on January 14, 2022 at any cost.
But inside talk is Radhe Shyam makers are experiencing Omicron tensions and buzz is they are closely monitoring the situation. Sources reveal that if the situation in the country is stable and Omicron cases don't increase alarmingly by January 5th, the makers will stick to the release date and resume the remaining work.
However, if things deteriorate as is witnessed with cases of omicron doubling in various states, the makers will postpone the release of Radhe Shyam indefinitely. Prabhas is romancing Pooja Hegde in the period entertainer under the direction of Radha Krishna Kumar of Jil fame.
