The makers of RRR which is the most awaited film across the country and for that matter across the world, have taken a shocking decision. The makers decided to postpone the film indefinitely in the wake of rising coronavirus cases following the outbreak of a new variant Omicron which is fast spreading.
The makers confirming the postponement revealed that tried their best to release the film on January 7, 2022, but with various state governments imposing covid restrictions, announcing the closure of theatres or 50% occupancy, they had no other option but to postpone the film release. It is known that going ahead with the release the same situation would land them in huge losses.
Despite Rajamouli's perfect planning and marketing, he couldn't beat the corona virus pandemic. The new date will be announced once omicron cases and the covid third wave pass away. The film has a star-studded cast of Ram Charan, NTR, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris in the main lead while Ajay Devgn, Shriya Sharan, Samuthirakhani, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson are playing important roles.
