The agriculture and farming sector form the backbone of India's economy. But over the past few decades, many farmers have ended their lives committing suicides due to a lack of encouragement from the government authorities. National Farmers Day or Kisan Diwas is celebrated every year on 23rd December to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and farmer leader Chaudhary Charan Singh.
On this occasion, Mega Star Chiranjeevi delighted all with a pleasant surprise. Chiranjeevi shared a video in which he showed bottle gourds that he grew in his house. His house has a roof garden and Chiranjeevi grew a few climbers and bottle guards. He showed them excitedly in the video and shared the importance of farming and agriculture.
