Pushpa recorded 80% collections through noon shows and matinees on Monday while the first shows of all the major cities and many B centres registered housefulls. In Vizag alone the movie recorded 10 housefulls with its first shows. Further, there is a solid sustenance in single screens across India.
Critics, who turned their thumbs down watching the film on the first day, are getting shell-shocked with the film amassing huge numbers in all the areas. Allu Arjun's perfection in playing the role and elegance in enormous energy that catapulted him reaching new heights as a superstar.
However, Pushpa still needs a solid long run to reach the break even. For the time being, Pushpa has no other competition with its genre.
