Last month, TSRTC MD Sajjanar expressed his displeasure against Allu Arjun's Rapido commercial in which Allu Arjun was seen endorsing the ad showing TSRTC in a bad light. The ad shows Allu Arjun telling a youngster that Rapido bike and taxi enables people to reach their destination faster than TSRTC.
Sajjanar said he would send legal notice to the company for the ad. According to the latest, the Court which heard the arguments from both sides gave a shock to the Rapido company. The court asked the company to remove the ad with immediate effect. The Nampally court which heard the arguments passed the judgment directing the company and youtube to remove the ad.
The court agreed with the TRSTC's argument that competitors cannot belittle other modes of transportation and especially the public transport system which has been in service for many decades.
