Angry Star Rajasekhar who was on the brink of becoming non-existence revived his career with a thriller PSV Garudavega. Rajasekhar is currently starring in Sekhar and the film's first glimpse generated immense interest among movie lovers. Top OTTs are trying to acquire the film's direct OTT streaming rights and are trying to get the rights for the film.
This is surprising to everyone as Rajasekhar's market is not that high at present. But inside talk is popular OTTs are competing with each other to acquire the digital screening rights of films that have even a little buzz so that they can convince the makers for the direct OTT releases.
Sources say the makers are on the verge of getting convinced as they are getting a whopping Rs 22-25crs. Buzz is OTTs are after the makers of Sekhar because of the genre and the film is a remake of Malayalam film Joseph. Though the film is a remake, the makers made changes according to Telugu sensibilities. Jeevitha Rajasekhar herself is overseeing the direction and screenplay departments. Music is scored by Anup Rubens.
Rajasekhar's Sekhar stars Aathmeeya Rajan, Muskan of George Reddy fame as the female leads while Prakash Raj, Abhinav Gowtham, Kannada Kishore, Sameer, Tanikella Bharani, Ravi Varma, Shravan Rahavendra are starring in other roles. Jeevitha Rajasekhar is directing the film which is bankrolled by Beeram Sudhakara Reddy,Shivani Rajasekhar, Shivatmika Rajasekhar, Boggaram Venkata Srinivas on Pegasus Cinecorp, Taurus Cine Corp, Sudhakar Impex IPL, and Tripura Creations banners respectively. Vankayalapati Muralikrishna is presenting the film.
