The unforgotten four years back drugs racket which rocked the Tollywood when Telangana Drug Control Board and SIT sent summoned many top stars seems to be back on the radar.
According to the latest, the Enforcement Directorate has sent notices to 12 Tollywood celebrities with regard to money laundering cases in drug trafficking and consumption. ED sent notices and summoned Puri Jagannath on August 31 and also summoned stars like Raviteja, Rakul Preet Singh, Charmee Kaur, Mumaith Khan, Tanish, Nandu, Tarun, and others.
Apart from these actors, ED even summoned Raviteja's driver Srinivas an unidentified person who works as a general manager of the F club. ED asked them to appear before them from September 2 t0 22. ED also summoned the Excise department officers who investigated the drugs case. Earlier rumors spread that the SIT of the Excise Department closed the case due to pressure from higher-ups on the basis of lack of evidence.
