The ambiguity prevailed over with the possible spread of the covid-19 in its third wave is letting the filmmakers to get their films deferred several times.
Until a few days ago, Megastar Chiranjeevi's highly anticipated film Acharya was supposed to release on October 13 which, earlier, was locked by team RRR but left the date as the film's major post production work is kept pending.
And now, the rumours have been mushroomed that team Acharya has postponed their film's release to January 12, 2022 as a Sankranthi gift for the audience. Reportedly, Chiranjeevi met Power Star Pawan Kalyan before confirming Acharya's release date. Pawan Kaluyan is said to have decided to postpone his ongoing film Bheemla Naayak to Maha Shivarathri. If this gossip is proved right, it could be said a great sacrifice of Power Star for his beloved big brother.
Meanwhile, Acharya's team is expected to give a hint on the film's release date on August 22, which falls on Megastar's birthday.
