Earlier rumors spread that the film would be titled Parasurama Krishnamurthy after the character names of Pawan Kalyan and Rana.
Now with Pawan's role revealed as Bheemla Nayak, the makers feel it is enough to name the film after Pawan Kalyan's character name as Pawan's fan following is enough to get craze for the project. To the top of it, the makers are making numerous changes to the original script to elevate the heroism of Pawan Kalyan and marginalize Rana's role. The film is slated for a grand release on January 12, 2022 as a Sankranti treat.
