The makers of Kanabadutaledu organized the pre-release event ahead of its release this week. Ram Gopal Varma graced the event which was attended by Vijayendra Prasad.
Vijayanedra Prasad teased RGV saying ' One cannot see RGV of Shiva, Satya and Sarkar' (Okappati RGV ippudu Kanabadatam ledu). RGV who later spoke did not respond to Vijayendra Prasad's comments but came with a stunner on his beard. In the midst of all this, he even dragged Rajamouli into it.
Looking at Vijayendra Prasad, RGV started ' I thought of asking you one thing for a long time. Who is the inspiration behind your beard? Is it Narendra Modi or Ravindranath Tagore? Or is it Valmiki who penned the epic Ramayana.'. Then he stunned all questioning ' Or.you grew beard thinking when ' afterall my son grew beard why can't I ?' ( ledante bodi naa koduku rajamouli ne gaddam penchadu. naadi antaku minchi undalani penchara?). While everyone laughed loudly, Vijayendra Prasad just smiled despite people asking him to respond.
