In the midst of all this, reports are coming that Navarasa is landing in a controversy. Inside talk is Muslims are angry with Maniratnam's Navarasa. #BanNetflix is trending on social media after a Muslim organization Raza Academy has taken a strong exception for hurting the sentiments of the Muslims.
Raza Academy posted 'Netflix has published a verse of the Quran in the advertisement of its film NavaRasa in Daily Thanthi newspaper. This is an insult to the Quran. We demand strict action against @NetflixIndia".The producers of the show are yet to respond but many people are branding it as an insult to the Quran.
