Mahesh Babu lined up a project with Sukumar right after he scored a blockbuster with Ram Charan's Rangasthalam. People got super excited and when everyone were expecting the update about the regular shoot, they got shock that the project was shelved and Mahesh Babu teamed with Trivikram Srinivas and Allu Arjun teamed with Sukumar.
Sources say Sukumar planned to do Pushpa with Mahesh Babu but with Mahesh Babu not keen to change his looks, he decided to team with Allu Arjun. Many felt this led to ego clashes between Sukumar and Mahesh Babu. However now reports are coming that Mahesh Babu and Sukumar's project is on the anvil.
Sukumar is set to direct Vijay Devarakonda after Pushpa. Mahesh will be doing films with Trivikram Srinivas and Rajamouli. Sources say Mahesh-Sukumar's project will be after Mahesh completes his current commitments. The project is touted to be a pan India entertainer. Mahesh and Sukumar earlier came with a thriller 1-Nenokkadine but the confusing screenplay turned the film into a disaster.
