Nagababu Slams Murali Mohan; Rebuffs Unanimous Proposal

Nagababu Slams Murali Mohan and Rebuffs Unanimous Proposal

Mega Brother Nagababu reacted on several issues connecting to MAA polls to be held in the month of September. A couple of days ago, speaking to a media house, veteran actor and real estate tycoon, Murali Mohan asserted that the MAA president would be elected unanimously.

When Murali Mohan's words were brought to the notice of Nagababu by a news channel's anchor in the latest interview of Nagababu, the mega brother lashed out at Murali Mohan's statement. "If unanimous is the criteria to be taken, then either Modi or Rahul Gandhi could be made as a PM unanimously. Our constitution, itself, doesn't permit unanimous polls. There is no need for unanimous elections for the MAA new body. The contestants including Prakash Raj and Manchu Vishnu might have their own perspectives. Let them contest for the polls. Unanimous polls are usually happen only through rowdyism or with utmost respect on a person who is contesting. Else, competition should be made mandatory," Nagababu said.

Nagababu, however, alleged that Murali Mohan could have ensured a building for MAA constructed during the latter's tenure as APFDC chairman. "He was an active politician in the TDP government then. "Had the TDP and Murali Mohan intended, there could have been a building for MAA. Later, Murali Mohan was elected MAA president during the Congress party's regime. When, Murali Mohan asked sought one acre of land for MAA building, YSR questioned if the real estate king couldn't allot just an acre of land for MAA. Obviously, Murali Mohan was taken aback," Nagababu said.

Meanwhile, Nagababu said he was not connected to any fundraising events. "Some fundraising events were conducted during Shivaji Raja and Naresh's tenures. I think there was no misuse of funds. If one has any doubts, they can get them clarified at MAA office," Nagabbau suggested.
