Kollywood star Karthi's Khaidhi created a sensation at the box office. The film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj surprised all with its twists and turns and Hollywood-style elements. Now two years after the film release, shocking allegations came on Khaidi.
Rajeev,a writer from Kerala approached the court saying that the story belongs to him. He said after he was released from Jail in 2017, he met the Dream Warriors banner through his friend. He said he even took the advance after narrating the story.
He said the Makers remained silent for two years and then made Khaidi with Karthi under Logesh Kanagaraj's direction. He alleged that Dream Warriors not only used his story without his permission but also did not give him the credit or the remuneration. Sources say the Kerala High Court sent notices to Dream Warriors and Logesh Kanagaraj.
Dream Warriors however rubbished the news saying that they did not receive any notices from the High Court. Lokesh Kanagaraj is not available to react to this controversy.
