Bollywood legendary hero Dileep Kumar breathed his last on 7 July due to prolonged illness. Mostly renowned as 'Tragedy King' with his portrayal of characters in films, Dileep Kumar, who was at 98, was born in Peshawar, British India on 1st of December 1922.
The legendary hero was admitted into Hinduja Hospital, a non-covid hospital, in Mumbai on June 30 with the symptoms of acute illness. As his health condition kept on deteriorating, he lost his life on Wednesday.
Dileep Kumar made his film debut with Jwar Bhata released in 1944. Thereupon, the yesteryears' heartthrob of film-lovers acted in many masterpieces such as Mughal-E-Azam, Naya Daur, Devdas, Madhumathi, Andaz, Leader, Deedar etc.
Dileep Kumar had been the MP of Rajyasabha between the years 2000 and 2006. The union government honoured this legendary hero with India's second highest civilian award, Padma Vibhushan in 2015. Cinejosh prays his soul rest in peace!
