It is known that star director Shankar has been entangled in a legal tangle with the producers of Kamal Haasan's Indian 2. With Lycaa Productions approaching the Court seeking an order to prevent Shankar from taking up any new projects in any language across the country till the completion of Indian2 its 180crs project, questions increased over his upcoming projects and more importantly the project he signed with Mega Power Star Ram Charan.
Finally, Shankar can breathe easily as he got a huge relief from the Madras High Court. Madras High Court after hearing on Lycaa Productions plea dismissed the injunction of Lyca against Shankar. It is known that the Court couple of months back on 22nd April asked both parties to resolve the issue amicably. But talks remained unfruitful and in a huge relief, the High Court dismissed not only the application by Lycaa to furnish security but also other applications. This will clear line for Shankar to proceed ahead with his future projects.
