A man identified as Nagarjuna Reddy has duped one of the leading producers of Telugu industry, Suresh Babu in the name of supplying Covid-19 vaccine. As Telugu Producers Council set certain terms and conditions before commencing the shooting works, Suresh Babu planned to get his staff and crew vaccinated.
Nagarjuna Reddy called on Suresh Babu and made the latter believe that he has 500 doses of Covid-19 vaccines. Accordingly Suresh Babu through his manager transferred Rs 1 lakh to Nagarjuna's wife's bank account.
Post transferring the amount, Nagarjuna switched off his phone and was not reachable to Suresh Babu. Learning that it was a dubious act, Suresh Babu approached the Jubilee Hills police and lodged a complaint.
The police arrested Nagarjuna Reddy and digging his own criminal records too.
