Covid's second wave disturbed not only the shooting schedules of the films on sets but also the release dates of the films. It's learnt that the release dates of all the big budgeted films will be pushed to a couple of months from their actual release dates.
Megastar Chiranjeevi's Acharya, which was supposed to hit the screens on May 13, has been deferred indefinitely. It's being heard that the makers are planning to bring the film to theatres during Dasara season.
Earlier, Radheshyam's release date was locked to July 30. Now, it's inevitable the film is postponed to October or later.
Team RRR, though ensured the film would hit screens on October 13, the film is unlikely to release this year. In such a case, the new date of release is yet to be announced by them. Icon Star Allu Arjun's Pushpa part one is expected to release for Sankranthi, 2022.
Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Mallu release date may not be deferred as the film heads for its shoot wrapped up on a rapid pace and is clearing the decks for Sankranthi, 2022 release.
