Drushyam 2, a sequel for Drushyam turned out to be a sensational hit in Malayalam. Mohan Lal, Meena's starrer directed by Jeethu Joseph turned out to be an even bigger hit than the first part. The film's remake rights in all languages fetched huge prices.
Suresh Babu is producing Drushyam 2 in Telugu with Venkatesh and Meena in the lead. The makers started shooting in March and completed it at a breakneck pace by April. But now reports are coming that the Drushyam 2 set erected in Kerala for washed away completely due to the incessant rains caused by cyclones.
Inside talk is a little part of shooting is left over. The makers think that since they can't re-erect the set during corona, they have to start the shoot only after corona subsides.
