The AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to have made an intelligent move in Anandaiah's covid treatment issue. Though a section of media, atheists and some people of various religions immensely opposed Anandaiah's Ayurvedic treatments for coronavirus pandemic, the ruling party has kept on supporting Anandaiah.
The local MLA Kakani Govardhan, himself, distributed the medicine to covid patients while the TTD personnel along with Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy assured that the ingredients would be collected by the temple's authorities to prepare the medicine in a large quantity.
Also, Jagan Reddy made sure the Ayush Department would give a positive feedback on the medicine while he hasn't let ICMR to visit Krishnapatnam to test Anandaiah's medicine.
The government is likely to make an official announcement of the distribution of medicine soon.
As of now, YS Jagan has been blamed for showing bias on a particular religion. But then, supporting Anandaiah's medicine implies a support on Indian culture, heritage and of course the religion. That's why, he is said to have scored brownie points with his sensible move.
