Radhika Apte is not only known for her bold roles but also her controversial comments. Sometime back she said a top south star tried to molest her. This triggered rumours that it could be Natasimha Balakrishna as she starred only opposite two top south stars Balakrishna and Rajinikanth and she sang praises of the latter.
Now Radhika Apte made explosive statements against Ram Gopal Varma. It is known that Ram Gopal Varma introduced her to Tollywood with his film Raktha Charitra. Radhika said she felt she was exploited during the Raktha Charitra shooting. She said RGV used her a lot during Raktha Charitra and did not even pay her the remuneration she deserved. She said she signed the film's Telugu version but later the film was shot in other languages and the makers paid her only for the Telugu version.
She said since the film had many big stars, she was unaware when the shoot would start and she allotted a lot of dates and her talent got wasted. She said she became a fan of RGV after watching his films Rangeela and Satya and felt she could learn a lot from teaming with him but she rues why she signed Raktha Charitra.
