Telangana government has imposed lockdown which is in force from May 12 to May 22 with an exemption from 6am to 10am. The lockdown was enforced with the surge of coronavirus cases and after the KCR government getting rapped for the state inefficiency in tackling the virus.
Meanwhile, the latest reports are that Chief Minister KCR who is going to have a Cabinet review meeting on May 20 will take a decision on lockdown. It is speculated that with cases on rise and with severe gravity around the pandemic, KCR may go for extension in lockdown.
Thus, the lockdown may be extended till May 31.We would only come to know about the state government decision on May 20. It is worth mentioning that states like Maharashtra and Odisha have already imposed complete lockdown.
