The much awaited results of 5-state general elections have been out. The voters verdict in the five states is as follows.
The Trinamul Congress Party's supremo Mamatha Banerji has a last laugh. The TMC of West Bengal has swept the general elections, 2021 with a clear lead over her nearest rival the BJP. Reportedly, the TMC is leading in 207 constituencies while the BJP has been satisfied with 81 seats. With this phenomenal victory, Mamatha is all set to swear in as a CM third time in a row.
The DMK alliance clinched a resounding victory against the ruling AIADMK in Tamil Nadu state. The updates suggest that the DMK reigns the poll battle with 144 seats lead suppressing the AIADMK's lead to just 89 constituencies. The DMK chief Stalin will assume the power soon.
The ruling party LDF in Kerala retains the power in 2021's general polls as well. The LDF attained the clear lead over its nearest rival the Congress led UDF. While LDF bagged 94+ assembly seats, the UDF's lead is limited to 45 seats in Kerala.
The BJP recorded a significant achievement in the 5-state poll battle. Apart from emerging the biggest opposition party in West Bengal, the BJP will be ruling the states Assam and Puducherry. In Assam, the BJP leads with 74 seats. The Congress and allies are trailing with 47 seats. On the other hand, The BJP and the allies showed upper hand over the Congress and the Allies with 13-8 lead.
