Finally, the AP government was taken aback by its ruthless decision. The government has decided to declare holidays to the AP SSC students, who are attending schools, despite the threat of being contracted the dreaded COVID pandemic.
The AP education minister Admulapu Suresh said to scribes on Monday in Kadapa that the government had decided to announce holidays to the SSC students from the 1st of May to the 31st of the same month.
However, the SSC public examinations, which have been scheduled from 7th of June, will be conducted as per the schedule and the teachers and the students should be available from the 1st of June to take part in the examinations.
The government's decision to go ahead with SSC examinations, however, has still drawn the wrath of the SSC students. It remains to be seen if the government heads for the total cancellation of the exams or not.
