66 Lakh 10th & Inter Families Zero Votes to YCP?

66 Lakh 10th and Inter Families 'Zero' Votes to YCP?

There has been a huge unrest everywhere! If you speaks on with SSC and Intermediate students of Andhra Pradesh, literally, they are seen bursting into tears. In light of the unusual spread of the coronavirus pandemic, students of class 10 and 12 are extremely scared of the virus like any other person in the state.

But then, the AP government has adamantly decided to go ahead with its previous decision to conduct the board examinations for the SSC and Intermediate students.

On Thursday, the AP education minister Adimulapu Suresh held a press meet subsequently after the cabinet meet with a group of ministers to discuss on COVID precautions and to take a crucial decision on the board exams in the state.

It was expected the minister would declare the cancellation of board exams. Strangely, Adimulapu made the issue politicized indulging in a severe criticism on Janasena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan and the TDP leader Nara Lokesh. As is known, both Pawan Kalyan and Lokesh demanded the cancellation of exams.

Further, the minister added that the government doesn't want to get the academic year wasted. Saying so, he hinted that the examinations would be held as per the schedule.

As a matter of fact, almost 99% students, who include merit students, desperately seek the cancellation of the exams to live on the earth staying safe at homes.

According to the statistical reports, a total of 6.4 lakh SSC students and 10.50 lakh Intermediate students are all set to take the board examinations. If the government firmly decides to conduct the exams, all these students will turn out to be the voters of 2024 general elections. And these 16+ lakh students, their parents and siblings put together 66 lakhs. There is a threat of all these student families casting their votes to opposition parties.

It seems the students turn the tables on with the weapon of 'Vote'. A wise decision should, inevitably, be taken up by the ruling party.
