As Tirupati Lok Sabha by-elections are fast approaching, psephologists are busy making analyses on the prospects of the political parties contesting in the elections. According to their observations, the BJP is all set to do an exceptional performance in the forthcoming poll battle.
As is known, caste calculations are mandatory in any political survey in the Andhra Pradesh state. And now, the caste polarization turns a boon for the BJP in the elections. The total percent of Balijas in Tirupati LS constituency are said to be around 26%. Janasena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan's factor becomes a trump card for the BJP. Most of the Balijas are learnt to have asserted that they would cast their votes to the BJP.
On the other hand, Brahmins have a very soft corner on the BJP. Moreover, they developed great unrest against the ruling YSRCP as the party has been distributing free money to pastors but ignored temple priests. It must be recalled that most of the temple priests and other Brahmins are leading their lives below the poverty line.
Over a long time, the TDP maintained a fixed vote bank in the form of the BCs. Since the party lost all its shine, the YCP opposition BC groups are looking for an alternative force. Since Pawan Kalyan is collaborating with the BJP, the BCs are contemplating to replace the TDP with the BJP. As such, a significant number of the BCs might cast their votes to the BJP.
If at all the above calculations of the Psephologists work for the BJP, a super sensational result can be expected from the voters in Tirupati constituency.
