There were speculations that, megastar Chiranjeevi’s latest flick Acharya gets postponed to August 13th. Yes, the film will not be releasing on the scheduled date of May 13th. But there won’t be long delay as reported in media. The film directed by Koratala Siva will be hitting the screens on June 18th. An official announcement regarding the same is awaited.
It may be mentioned here that many big-ticket films are now pushing their release dates as India is witnessing a big surge in Covid-19 cases. Due to second wave, filmmakers are opting to postpone release date of their films from scheduled dates.
Acharya tells the story of a naxalite who is on a mission to safeguard natural resources. Kajal Aggarwal is the leading lady opposite Chiranjeevi in the commercial entertainer. Also starring Ram Charan, Pooja Hegde and Sonu Sood, the film has music by Mani Sharma.
Ram Charan is producing Acharya in association with Niranjan Reddy’s Matinee Entertainment.
