This is not meant to make our viewers April Fools. It’s true that, Young Tiger Jr NTR turns 60 in a year. He plays the role of a retired athlete in a sports drama to be directed by Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana. Yes, NTR will be joining hands with Buchi Babu for a film that will go on floors after the actor wraps up his next with Trivikram Srinivas.
Buchi Babu was one of the associate directors for several films directed by Sukumar, including NTR’s Nannaku Prematho. The director penned different stories, but he always wanted to make a film with NTR. He narrated a line story to NTR, before the release of Uppena and the actor asked him to develop then.
The duo met recently again and NTR is said to be impressed with the new developments in the script. Buchi Babu will prepare full script in next few months. The story of the film is set in 1980’s and NTR will go for a makeover. Mythri Movie Makers will produce the film. Other details will be unveiled soon.
NTR is presently busy wrapping up SS Rajamouli’s RRR. He then will start working for Trivikram Srinivas’s film which is expected to release in summer, next year.
