King Nagarjuna’s highly anticipated action dhamaka Wild Dog which is based on true events will be releasing worldwide on April 2nd. The team celebrated Wild Dog Base Camp Event in a distinctive way. The makers felicitated the team of National Award Winners during the event.
Producer Niranjan Reddy made a statement that only Nagarjuna could do such films and the film materialized only because of him. “Though we initially thought we were making an experimental film. It became a commercial movie, after Nagarjuna gave nod for the project. With Wild Dog, Nagarjuna introduced a total of 40 new directors to Tollywood.”
Director Ashishor Solomon revealed that an article was an inspiration for him to write the story of Wild Dog. He disclosed the kind of research underwent for the film. He thanked hero Nagarjuna and his producer Niranjan Reddy for keeping faith in him.
Nagarjuna said that he signed the film as he loved the character of Vijay Varma who is fearless. “Vijay Varma is a good human being. He is a good father and husband. He is also a good team leader. Moreover, he loves his country so much. I too am fearless like ACP Vijay Varma. I love to try new things, experiment with new subjects and wish to work with new blood.”
Nagarjuna was all praises for his producer Niranjan Reddy for resuming the shoot when he was feeling bored during lockdown. Interestingly, he wished for the success of his Oopiri brother Karthi whose film Sulthan releasing along with Wild Don on April 2nd.
